Caryl Phillips

Caryl Phillips was born in St.Kitts and now lives in New York. He has written for television, radio, theatre and cinema, and is the author of many works of fiction and non-fiction. His awards include the Martin Luther King Memorial Prize, a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Lannan Literary Award, and the Commonwealth Writers Prize. His latest novel In the Falling Snow was published in 2009.
